Pastor Jonathan Kandiah, Assistant Pastor at Richmond Hill Pentecostal Church
Jonathan Kandiah
Assistant Pastor

Born into a Pastor’s household, Christ was introduced to Jon at a very early age. He accepted Jesus as his Lord and Saviour at the age of 6, was baptized in water at 12, and filled with the Holy Ghost at 17. As was prophesied over him time and time again, Jon developed a fierce passion for ministry and began serving at his church when he was just a kid. It was here that he developed a deep love for God, people and worship!

He went on to study Science at the University of Guelph with aspirations to go into medicine, but God’s plans prevailed for his life. He could not push off his calling and soon after applied to Master’s Pentecostal College and Seminary in Peterborough. Jon has served in various ministry contexts and capacities in the past including being a Youth Pastor and an Assistant Pastor.

Jon is passionate about young people- especially youth and young adults! His mission is to see them get sold out for Jesus and rise up to change the world through the power of the Holy Spirit! Having seen so many youth and young adults completely transformed by Jesus, Jon senses a huge revival taking place, and is eager to see what God is about to release!
